A Suicide Support Group will be offered in Carroll this winter with the first of six meetings on February 20.
The group is open to anyone over 18 who has lost a family member or friend to suicide over 30 days ago. Tina Zanders, LMSW, will facilitate the group and encourages loved ones struggling from such a loss to join. “More people than ever have lost someone close to them by suicide. Through this group, your will gain hope and support for moving forward in your journey through grief and loss.”
Meetings will be Tuesdays, Feb. 20 – Mar. 26, 2024, from 5:15 – 6:45 p.m. at the Carroll location at 409 ½ W 7th Street.
Membership will remain the same for the entire session. Tina explains, “I will provide a caring, comfortable and confidential setting in which you can listen, share and connect with others to build an on-going support system.”
