What is PTSD?

Signs and Symptoms

PTSD:

Your mental health is as important as your physical health, and it is essential to monitor how you are doing.

If you have experience a difficult or traumatic event and are not feeling like yourself, how do you know if it will soon pass, or if what you are experiencing is actually a mental illness like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)?

In the video below, Clinical Director Benita Triplett, LISW, shares the signs and symptoms to watch for in yourself, your kids and your loved ones.

Thinking about mental health conditions may be scary, but very often with professional counseling, PTSD and other mental illnesses such as Depression or Anxiety are treatable. Mental health conditions are quite common.

People get better and live happier, more productive lives.
