Fall Suicide Support Group (English)

Our agency's next Suicide Support Groups in Sioux City will begin Sept. 1, 2026. The six-week programs provide a safe and compassionate space for those who have lost a loved one to suicide.

These support groups are open to adults (18+) who have lost a family member or friend to suicide at least 30 days prior to the first session. People of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome.

“More people than ever have experienced the pain of losing someone to suicide,” says Benita Triplett, LISW, Clinical Director and co-facilitator of the English group. “Through this program, we hope to offer support, connection and a path forward for those navigating grief and loss.”

📅 Dates: Tuesdays, Sept. 1 – Oct. 6, 2026

⏰ Time: 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.

📍 Location: Catholic Charities, 1601 Military Road, Sioux City

💻Telehealth: Telehealth is available, please call to get the Zoom link ahead of time!

💲 Cost: Free

Participants will meet with the same group members for the entire six-week session to foster trust and connection.
