Catholic Charities is excited to share a special opportunity to watch a three-part television series featuring Sister Gianna, filmed before she joined the Catholic Charities team.

The series, “Path to Resurrection: Healing and the Virtues,” aired on EWTN's Women of Grace and explores the powerful connection between virtue, healing and recovery from trauma.

Drawing on insights from her three-year research study, Sister Gianna takes viewers on a journey through the connection between the brain, trauma recovery, faith and the practice of virtue. Across all three episodes, she explores how virtues such as compassion, kindness, patience and forgiveness can help reshape neural pathways and support healing, hope and new life.

The series also examines the challenges that can accompany trauma and the path toward healing. Viewers will learn more about the ways intentional practices and virtues can help create new patterns of thought and response, offering a deeper understanding of how the mind, body and spirit are connected in the healing process. The series concludes with a closer look at forgiveness and its potential role in healing from significant hurt and trauma.

Watch each episode:

Whether you are interested in trauma recovery, the connection between faith and mental health or the transformative power of the virtues, this series offers an opportunity to explore how healing and hope can take root in our lives.
